Following the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Hospice UK is holding a special one-day plant sale of the plants grown for and featured in the 2025 Hospice UK Garden of Compassion. The garden was designed to demonstrate the importance and role of thoughtfully designed spaces for providing comfort at the end of life for patients, families and staff.
Taking place on the 1st of June at the Hortus Loci nursery in Hampshire (RG27 8LQ), the Hospice UK Plant Sale includes around 2,000 plants, selected (and some grown) by the garden designer Tom Hoblyn. Hoblyn will be present, to lead an auction of special plants from the show garden.
Proceeds from the sale will support Hospice UK’s vital work, including the relocation of the RHS Chelsea garden to its permanent home at St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham.
Entry to the plant sale is by pre-booked (parking) slot only. Bookings are per car, not per person and car sharing is encouraged. Plants will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The Hortus Loci nursery and café will also be accessible on the day.
