Set to take place this year, from the 12th to 13th of July, at the South of England Showground in Sussex, the National Amateur Gardening Show has been “postponed for this year”. The original National Amateur Gardening Show took place in September 1996 and was attended by some 50,000 visitors.
Kelsey Media’s official statement read: “We are so sorry to let you know that the National Amateur Gardening Show has been postponed for this year. It is very important to us that we listen to our readers, businesses and the gardening public at large and having done so we’ve taken the very difficult, but carefully considered, decision to postpone the event.
“Amateur Gardening magazine continues to thrive since Kelsey successfully relaunched the magazine, it is a hugely popular magazine with a loyal following and we really want to get this right for you, so we hope you understand. We will announce our exciting new live events plans soon.”
The organiser added that any payments taken to for bookings will be refunded in full, which should take approximately 5 – 10 business days.
