An annual contributor to the National Garden Scheme (NGS), but this was the largest contribution made by Griffin Glasshouses to the charity since their partnership began in 2013. Amongst their collection of glasshouses, Griffin has a National Garden Scheme collection and for every NGS glasshouse sold the company donates 5% to the scheme every year. To date, Griffin has donated £163,000.

“Year on year the contributions from Griffin Glasshouses have been a fantastic addition to our fundraising” said National Garden Scheme CEO, George Plumptre. “The ongoing and significant contributions continue
to help increase the support we are able to provide to our beneficiary charities, including some of the UK’s best-loved nursing charities like Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie and Parkinson’s UK.”

The cheque was presented to NGS Chairman, Rupert Tyler, by Linda Lane, the Managing Director Griffin Glasshouses, during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show on the charity’s gold winning National Garden Scheme show garden designed by Tom Stuart-Smith.
