After a sellout tour in 2022 Monty Don is back on the road, starting off with a in-conversation event on 8 July at Kew The Music 2024, a week-long festival of picnic concerts at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. The tour officially starts on November the 1st, when Don will be heading to cities around the UK and Ireland.
During the live shows, Don will be speaking about how he created his garden at Longmeadow, the gardening practices he considers to be the most useful and important, and the impact of the changing of the seasons on each part of the garden. He will also be sharing highlights from his career in gardening, detail his favourite gardens – both ancient and modern, and reveal how he fell in love with the natural world.
Don has been making television programmes for over 30 years and has been lead presenter of the BBC’s Gardener’s World since 2003. Since 2011 the programme has come from his own garden, Longmeadow, in Herefordshire.
The event at The Barbican, London on the 4th of November will be live streamed via Fane Online and will be available for one week on demand after the initial broadcast. For full details on Don’s tour, see Fane Productions.
