Commenting on their anniversary milestone, David Phillips, Dobies’ B2C Sales Director, said: “For generations, gardeners have relied on Dobies for their gardening needs, confident in the quality and expertise that the brand delivers. Only the best varieties make it into the Dobies seed range and all are laboratory tested for high gemination success. This dedication to excellence has made Dobies a household name for gardeners across the UK.”

The Devon based nursery was granted Planet Mark Certification in March 2024, which recognises continuous improvement, encourages action and builds an empowered community of like-minded individuals who make a world of difference. Dobies nursery is 100% peat-free, don’t use any neonicotinoid pesticides (since 2017), generate electricity from installed solar panels and strive to reduce the amount of plastic used across the company.
