Breeders of English garden roses for over 60 years, David Austin® roses has to date, released more than 240 varieties. The family business, based in Shropshire, was founded by David C. H. Austin OBE, who released his very first rose back in 1961, Constance Spry.
For 2025, the company has launched four collections to make roses more accessible for all gardens; for the beginner, small spaces, fragrance and pollinators.

The collections have been curated by the breeder to ensure, beginners are equipped with dependable, easy to grow varieties (Emma Bridgewater®, Claire Austin® & Olivia Rose Austin®) and gardeners keen to share their garden with pollinators and wildlife, include roses that support biodiversity, whilst offering natural beauty (The Generous Gardener®, The Lark Ascending® & Lady of Shalott®).
