Cha No Niwa wins RHS People’s Choice 2025

An award voted for by the public, the RHS People’s Choice Award winners for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025 have been announced.

Kazuyuki Ishihara, Best in Show winner, is crowned this year’s RHS People’s Choice Award in the Large Show Garden category for the Cha no Niwa – Japanese Tea Garden. The garden was designed as a place for quiet reflection and connecting with nature.

The Down’s Syndrome Scotland Garden, designed by Nick Burton and Duncan Hall won the RHS People’s Choice Award in the Small Show Garden category. Supported by Project Giving Back, the garden was designed to celebrate the unique qualities of people with Down’s syndrome and to challenges the barriers and misconceptions they face on a daily basis.

The Wildlife Trusts’ British Rainforest Garden, designed by Zoe Claymore won the People’s Choice Award: All About Plants Garden. By bringing the enchantment of temperate rainforests to RHS Chelsea Flower Show, The Wildlife Trusts aimed to inspire people to support the restoration of this threatened habitat and show how nature-friendly gardening can help British wildlife thrive.

People’s Choice Award winner: Balcony/Container Garden Award went to the Making Life Better With Bees Garden, designed by Jenny Rafferty, Frantisek Zika and Jim Goodman. A colourful, pollinator-friendly garden, showcasing how a small space can be transformed into a pollinator haven.
