Flower Council of Holland rebrands to become Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland

Representing growers and traders, the renamed, Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland promotes the Dutch horticulture sector to attract attention to flowers and plants from European consumers.

On behalf of Dutch growers and traders, the Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland (previously known as the Flower Council (Bloemenbureau) of Holland) looks generate greater visibility and appreciation for plants and flowers amongst consumers to stimulate demand. The organisation conducts consumer research and works to strengthen the image of the horticultural sector in The Netherlands.

Rebranded for enhanced international recognition, the organisation has merged associated websites into one new platform for consumers, growers and traders, for improved focus, visibility and reach. Consumers can search the new website for trends and content relating to plants and flowers, whereas the growers and traders will have access to research results, dashboards, image bank and customisable communication templates for use in their own business operations. Using AI technology, the content is said to be adaptable to culture, language and context per country.

Setting the strategic direction of the organisation and responsible for the daily managed is Yvonne Watzdorf, Managing Director of Plants & Flowers Foundation Holland. Watzdorf works closely with the organisaton’s Supervisory Board which consists of: Chairman – Marco van der Sar (Independent); Alice van Veen (Royal Lemkes); Peter ten Have (J&P ten Have nursery); Ton van Mil (Royal Brinkman); Mariska Werring (Independent); and Jack Goossens (Gova BV).
