Taking place at Pershore College on the 27th of June, the Warwickshire College Group (WCG) Worcestershire Employer and Stakeholder Conference puts employers at the heart of workforce planning, ensuring education and training deliver the talent the horticultural industry needs.
Tailored to horticulture, the focus of the event is on land-based industries, food production, sustainability, construction, creative industries, sport, health and professional services.
Regional experts will provide insights into industry growth areas, skills gaps, and future workforce needs across Warwickshire and Worcestershire. The conference provides attendees with guidance to: effectively access a pipeline of skilled apprentices, work-ready graduates and up-skilled adult learners; shaping the curriculum through Employer Partnership Boards (EPBs); identify workforce opportunities through work experience, supported internships, and apprenticeships; and how to engage with the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) to influence regional economic growth and skills development.
