The award winning writer, gardener and cook Mark Diacono is sharing his 20+ years of writing experience to budding food, garden and lifestyle writers by means of live ‘gatherings’ which will be hosted on Diacono’s Substack.
The sessions will focus on the various aspects of the creative writing process, such as: how to get an idea in front of publishers, writing proposals, writing on Substack, overcoming self doubt and so forth. Diacono will run some of the gatherings solo, and invite expert guests to share their experiences.
Some of the events will be open to all, others accessible for paid subscribers only. Free subscribers get access to some gatherings and some words, while paid subscribers get all the words and chance to attend all the gatherings – while spaces are available.
Diacono is the author of an impressive 14 award winning books, including HERB/a cook’s companion, SOUR, A Year at Otter Farm (winner Andre Simon Food Book of the Year), A Taste of the Unexpected (winner Guild of Food Writers’ Food Book of the Year) and a handful of books for River Cottage.
