Honda expands robotic lawnmower portfolio

Honda has launched two new wireless models, the Miimo 1500i and Miimo 2200i to its robotic lawn mower series.

Available on the European market from spring 2026, the new Miimo 1500i and Miimo 2200i models are equipped with smarter automation, design, and usability.

According to Honda, the new additions eliminate the need for physical boundary wires, allowing users to easily map and define mowing zones using a dedicated smartphone app, reducing setup time. The system also allows for flexible adjustments to mowing areas and exclusion zones, making the mowers suitable for gardens with evolving layouts.

All wireless models will be equipped with an antenna-free network RTK system, combining a RTK GNSS chip with 4G cloud connectivity. This will enable precise positioning and communication, delivering accurate mowing and remote-control functionality.

Shin Yasui, General Manager of Power Products, Honda Motor Europe, said: “In Europe, people’s approach to outdoor living is undergoing a clear shift, with growing demand for smarter, time-saving solutions. Miimo meets these evolving needs through intelligent automation, helping enhance everyday life. Honda sees this shift as a strategic opportunity and positions the robotic lawn mower business as a key pillar for future growth.”

The latest models include a new app and onboard interface, which are unified to deliver a more user-friendly and intuitive experience. Honda confirm that wired models sold after 2023 will also receive this update to their existing app.
