Made of crepe paper, the flowers are lightweight and flexible. Each petal is carefully cut, curled and dusted with pastel colours by hand to create a lifelike flower. The Crossley x Armitt collection includes a selection of tulips and ranunculus.
Willow Crossley is a renowned florist, author and designer, who aims to inspire others to create and nurture through nature. The paper flower collection is in collaboration with the talented Kristhanti Armitt, renowned for her (wedding) cakes and sugar flowers. Crossley worked with Armitt to create some of her favourite tulips and ranunculus for this debut Spring collection.
There are three tulips in the collection: A wild swirly red & white; a fresh, verdant green & white, and a pink raspberry rippled stripe. And, two different ranunculus; one pale blush and the other is a white and Ribena-tipped frilly-edged picotee.
Incredibly lifelike, the flowers have a still-life, decorative appeal providing everlasting colour and form, all year round.
The collection sold out soon on launch, but they are working to restock, with the potentially addition of some new seasonal flower iterations.
