Gardener and broadcaster, Alan Titchmarsh launches new daytime gardening show on ITV starting next week.

In this brand new series, Alan Titchmarsh, accompanied by a diverse team of experts will shine a light on the latest horticultural trends and innovative gardens across the UK, providing practical gardening tips for both aspiring and experienced gardeners.

Alan Titchmarsh says: “I’m really pleased to be able to present a programme designed to appeal to anyone who is keen to make a patch of earth, a balcony or even a doorstep into something they find enriching and which will encourage wildlife. Gardening means so much to me and I’m keen that my enthusiasm should rub off on every viewer – whether new to gardening or an old hand. Growing things is good for the soul and good for the planet, and Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club will celebrate all that is good about the earth.”

The Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club series is a Penny Lane Entertainment production for ITV and has been made in association with lawn treatment company GreenThumb. The series producer is Sam Bendel and the executive producer is Lee Connolly.

The team includes:

  • Camilla Bassett-Smith: Exploring beautiful and innovative gardens across the UK and meeting head gardeners to discuss their history, maintenance, future plans and providing practical tips for viewers.
  • Tayshan Hayden-Smith: The social and environmental activist, showcases the individuals behind community garden projects across the country. The founder of Grow to Know, also talks about the significance and therapeutic influence of gardens and nature on mental health.
  • Anna Greenland: Organic gardener and cook shows viewers tips to create a sustainable garden on a budget from her own vegetable garden.
  • David Domoney: The broadcaster and horticulturist will be providing practical tips and hosting ‘Ask the Gardener’ features.
  • Sarah Gerrard-Jones: The author and houseplant enthusiast is the series’ house plant expert.

In the first episode, David Domoney reveals how to attract more birds into your outdoor space, Camilla Bassett-Smith discovers grow-your-own tips at an innovative Somerset haven, Tayshan Hayden-Smith delves into an inner-city community garden project, and houseplant expert Sarah Gerrard-Jones unveils secrets to crafting an indoor oasis.

The Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club series will be shown on ITV, every Monday for the duration of the series and starts on the 4th of March at 2pm.
