Blue Diamond Group acquired Frosts Garden Centre

The garden centre retail group, Blue Diamond have acquired their 45th garden centre, Frosts Garden Centre located in Woburn Sands, Buckinghamshire.

Established in 1946 the family run business, Frosts Garden Centre has remained a central part of local communities for over 75 years. Frosts offering includes, plants, garden essentials & furniture, restaurant, food hall and shop.

James & Jeremy Frost said “When our grandfather started this business in 1946, he could not possibly have foreseen how Frosts would develop – it has been our family’s passion now for over 75 years. We are not getting any younger, and there is no-one in the Frost family to take over the reins. Therefore, when we received an approach from The Blue Diamond Group, to buy Frosts, we concluded that the time was right – not only for us, but also for the business.”

The Blue Diamond Group currently owns 44 garden centres in the UK and Channel Islands. With their 45th acquisition, the Group moves to a turnover of £332m per annum.
