The family owned garden centre group, British Garden Centres (BGC) with 73 centres around the country will be making their debut at the forthcoming RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival and the RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse.
In addition to plants, BCG will exhibiting a variety of garden sundries and their Fern Living brand of outdoor furniture. The stands for both RHS shows have been designed as a one-stop shop for gardening enthusiasts, offering an inspiration for both seasoned as well as new gardeners visiting the event.
Owned and led by the Stubbs family, BGC was launched in 1990 with the opening of Woodthorpe Garden Centre by brothers Charles and Robert Stubbs. Since 2018, it has expanded rapidly through the acquisition of garden centres, spreading their portfolio from Carmarthen to Ramsgate, Wimborne to East Durham.
“We are thrilled to be making our debut at these two fantastic events and increasing awareness of the British Garden Centres brand. There’s a special energy at garden festivals, and we’re looking forward to sharing our passion for plants and offering helpful advice to visitors. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with the gardening community and hopefully inspire some new ideas at these RHS shows,” said Amy Stubbs, Project & Development Manager at British Garden Centres.
