Chelsea in Bloom 2024 winners

A rundown of the winning entries of London’s most colourful floral festival in the Royal Borough of Chelsea, where businesses showcased the ambitious and innovative flower displays.

Chelsea in Bloom, organised by Cadogan, in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) extends the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to the local area. Throughout Chelsea in London, retail businesses showcase original flower displays, inspired this year by culinary favourites and memorable epicurean scenes from film, literature, history and art. The festival runs until the 26th of May and is London’s largest free-to-attend festival of flowers.

In keeping with the 2024 theme of Floral Feasts, the Conran Shop was this year’s chosen winner of the Chelsea in Bloom competition, winning the coveted Best Floral Display Award. Judged by an expert panel of RHS appointed judges, the Conran Shop’s ‘La Douce France’ installation won on account of its romantic interpretation of alfresco dining and the interconnectedness between humanity and the natural world.The display at The Conran Shop was created in partnership with Zoë de Givenchy.

Located on Cale Street, the Birley Bakery won the Highly Commended award for its floral feast for the bees, highlighting their importance through an impressive display of bee-friendly flowers in three ‘honeycomb’ towers of English flowers.

Tom Kerridge’s, the Butcher’s Tap & Grill was presented with the Innovation award for their ‘Pirates Feast’, a wooden ship filled with edible flowers that can be preserved and used across Kerridge’s other establishments.

The winner of the People’s Champion Award, announced Friday 26th of May, was Trinny London’s pop-up shop in Duke of York Square. Inspired by the founder, Trinny Woodall’s zest and passion for life, the shop was adorned with large lemon-yellow blooms created by Ricky Paul Flowers to bring sunshine to the King’s Road.
