The candidate, who is to work alongside the current ecology officer will help the council with its statutory Biodiversity Net Gain requirements and the wider biodiversity implications of the Environment Act 2021 and NERC Act 2006.
The council is looking for an enthusiastic and appropriately qualified Ecologist who is ready to secure Biodiversity Net Gain from developments, work constructively with the development industry to achieve those aims, help develop the monitoring systems and provide wider expertise to support good place making and environmental enhancement more generally.
- Grade G: £35,647.00 – £40,446.50 per annum
