Part of their own Dobbies brand range, the new product lines will include gardening tools, indoor grow lights and a diverse selection of new bulbs. The Dobbies branded gardening range now includes over 700 items.
The expansion is a response to growing demand from UK shoppers for quality own brand products at affordable prices. According to the garden centre chain, a recent study by packaging manufacturer Amcor found that 70% of respondents regularly buy private label products.
The new additions to the range include:
- 28 gardening tools priced in the £4.99 to £32.99 range, including a hand fork, trowel, garden border fork, lawn-edging shears and secateurs
- 35 new bulb varieties that can be planted from now, including an exclusive Dahlia Bright Eyes which is only available to Dobbies’ customers.
- Grow lights to support plant growth which will be available from late March
- Six new lines of houseplant care arriving in store from late March, priced from £16.99
