An organic garden festival aimed to encourage visitors of all experience levels, to start growing with nature in mind. A series of talks, workshops and demonstrations by Arit Anderson, Frances Tophill and Alys Fowler aim to provide valuable gardening skills. Specialist nurseries will be on hand to offer seasonal plants and bulbs for sale, alongside the promise of music, entertainment and delicious food.
Inspired by the late Bingerden’s Nursery Days and the Great Dixter plant fairs, the Artisan Plant Market at De Wiersse Estate in the Netherlands, has become a notable diary entry for plant lovers. At its core are 35 or so, specialist nurseries and growers exhibiting, offering everything from organic roses, perennials, seedlings, organic seeds, native plants, traditionally grown (fruit) trees and picking garden plants.
