A symposium with historians, archivists, curators & artists to discuss ways of finding and telling the best stories in special collections. The event is organized by India Cole (QMUL, Oxford Botanic Garden) and The Linnean Society. Amongst other eminent speakers, the historian & author, Advolly Richmond is featured and she will be speaking about Rev. Thomas Birch Freeman (1809-1890), the Anglo-African Victorian gardener, missionary and botanist.
