New exhibition at the British Library, exploring the transformative, enriching and power of gardening in Britain and how it impacts people, communities and the environment.
First exhibition to examine the common thread weaving through all of Cecil Beaton’s work: gardens and flowers. Photographs, paintings, drawings, costume and set design will explore the role flowers played in developing his creative practice: from the lavish floral installations for his infamous parties, to painted and fresh flowers for fashion photography and royal portraits, to floral costumes in films such as My Fair Lady. Curated by Garden Museum Curator Emma House and designed by artist and designer Luke Edward Hall.
Philip Mould & Company present Garden to Canvas: Cedric Morris and Benton End, an exhibition celebrating the vibrant flower paintings of Cedric Morris (1889–1982). Guest-curated by James Horner, Head Gardener at Benton End, the exhibition brings together the works that played a key role in the revival of Morris’s historic Suffolk garden.
An exhibition taking place at the North London based, Omved Gardens by the artist, Vivienne Schadinsky exploring the journey of beans from seed to harvest and their potential for human and planetary health.
Free to attend exhibition. In The Lost Trees, Nancy Cadogan explores the emotional and environmental significance of trees through the human stories and connections tied to these lost giants. Her paintings serve as memorials and tributes to the trees, whether from private gardens, parks, or hedgerows—each felled for different reasons. These works are uplifting testaments to the enduring legacy of trees and the vital role they play in our lives, and what they do for us.
Over 240 stands presented more than 150 companies products, across both halls at the 2023 event. The 2023 event shaped up to be a fantastic one, providing British companies the opportunity to showcase everything from seeds, bulbs, house plants and a wide range of garden plants to labelling and product information, growing media, display benching and machinery.
The second symposium at the Serge Hill Project, ‘A Safe Green Space: Nature and Play’ will focus on the transformative relationship between nature, gardens, creativity, wellbeing and play.
Organised in support of Andover Mind, an event featuring expert-led workshops, live demonstrations, plant sales, and family-friendly activities. Speakers include, the event organiser, garden designer and mental health advocate Leigh Johnstone, presenter and garden designer Chris Hull, the children’s gardening educator, Lee Connelly and the broadcaster and author, Ellen Mary. There will be talks by the garden designer, Katherine Holland and the mushroom growers, the Caley Brothers. Houseplant expert, Gemma Haigh will be on hand to provide advice the ‘houseplant hub’. For children, Lee Connelly leads a mini children’s gardening festival, as well as an interactive soil zone.

The National Amateur Gardening Show returns, promising a weekend of interactive gardening fun and the opportunity for Amateur Gardening (AG) magazine readers and gardeners to meet gardening celebrities, browse plants and products and learn hands-on skills. Designed for the whole family, the show caters cater to all levels of gardeners and size of gardens.
The inaugural RHS Flower Show Wentworth Woodhouse will be taking place in one of the grandest stately homes in the country in South Yorkshire. The new show is set to feature an exciting array of up and coming designers, growers, and local artisans alongside popular features including RHS Young Designer of the Year and RHS Career Changer of the Year.
A fun, family orientated show, bringing together everything for keen gardeners, including up to 40 known nurseries, traditional fruit and vegetable show, talks, workshops and traders offering essential gardening tools and accessories. The 11th Garden Museum Literary Festival, gathering garden makers, designers and authors for two days of talks celebrating gardens. Held annually, the boutique festival is Britain’s only traveling Literary Festival, with previous hosts including Sezincote House (2024) Parham House (2023), Chatsworth House (2022), Helmingham Hall (2021), and Houghton Hall (2019). Each venue provides a beautiful location to celebrate the best in garden writing and to share what inspires in gardens.
