Great Dixter’s plant fairs, which they humbly describe as ‘a small plant fair’ is a date-to-save for plantsmen from near and far.

The Autumn Plant Fair will take place on Saturday 7 October and Sunday 8 October 2023, 11am to 4pm. Don’t be alarmed if you see the man himself, Fergus Garrett assisting with the parking, it’s just that kind of place. Embracing to all whom love plants, generous in terms of sharing knowledge and simply wonderful.

According to their website, this year there will be 30 stalls of nurseries including: Australasian Plant Society; Beth Chatto Gardens; Binny Plants; Chailey Iris; Daisy Roots; Dyson; Edulis; Hardys Cottage Plants; Hoyland; Jurassic; King Johns; Laurels; Lime Cross; CB Plants of Lower Severalls; Madrona; Marchants Hardy Plants; Miles Japanese Maples; No Name Nursery; Pelham Plants; Pheasant Acre; Phoenix Perennial Plants; Pineview; Plantbase; Plantsmans Preference; Potterton Nurseries; Rapkyns; Rotherview; Special Plants; Wildegoose Nursery; Zophian

We understand that the famous cake stall, the sausage and soup stall will be there to give inner sustenance. Dogs allowed on the Plant Fair field only. The entrance fee is £13 and includes garden entry (Friends & Annual Ticket holders: free).
