Perrywood is an independent, family-owned garden centre and nursery run by the Bourne Family in Essex. To ensure clearer oversight of their finances, the company invested in Xero software and are now looking for a financial controller to help improve processes and ensure accurate data to make financial decisions.
Reporting to the board of directors, the candidate will lead and motivate a small finance team and be responsible for owning the beginning-to-end finance processing. The candidate will demonstrate commercial rigour, ensuring that accurate accounting treatment is followed and that the company adheres to financial laws and regulations
- Salary: £50,000-£60,000 (pro rata)
- Permanent position at 24 hours p/wk with flexibility on hours and days
- Location: Perrywood Tiptree with some flexibility to work from home
