Established by the gardener, cook, author and natural skincare product maker, Silvana Soissons has announced that she is selling her business, the Farm Soap Co.. Soissons is known for her natural skincare, work in the food industry, lifestyle retailing and for her blog, The Foodie Bugle which won The Guild Of Food Writers New Media Award in 2012.
“I have decided to take time out to focus on family and friends and revisit the motherland. Some of you may know that I originally hail from Lombardy in Northern Italy. I am going to sell Farm Soap Co. as a going concern. If you are interested in handmade botanical skincare, artisan manufacturing and independent shop keeping this is a good opportunity to buy an established, staffed and operational business,” explains Soissons.
The Farm Soap Co. specialises in botanical soaps and natural skincare products, which are handmade in small batches in their Dorset based workshop using traditional artisan methods. Ingredients used include essential oils, home grown (and distilled)herbs and flowers from an organic walled garden, Dorset Sea Salt and seaweeds sourced from the shores of the Jurassic Coast. All the products are vegan, cruelty free and exempt of any synthetic fragrances or petrochemical derived ingredients.
The company has a wholesale, online and retail presence – the Shaftbury town shop on 1A Bell Street (SP7 8AR). According to the owner, the established customer base includes consumers and over 200 retail and hospitality sites – one of which included the Newt in Somerset.
Interested parties are to contact Silvana Soissons for details of the sale and selling agent.
