Form Meets Function: Niwaki Launches Engei workwear

The Japanese lifestyle brand unveils a new range of unisex workwear, comprising the Engei jacket and trousers.

Niwaki Engei jacket and trousers

Expanding their range of clothing, Niwaki launches their new, Japanese workwear inspired Engei jacket and trousers. Similar in design to their Kojima work jacket, the Engei range is crafted entirely from 100% cotton and manufactured in Japan.

Smart and hardwearing, with ‘washed in feel’, the new range is cut for both comfort and practicality. Deep, lined pockets are strategically designed to accommodate a variety of garden hand tools, which will appeal to the gardening fraternity. An alternative to denim, the range was designed to enhance working comfort.

The jacket has also cunningly slightly longer at the back to ensure one’s modesty is protected when bending over. Available in range of sizes from extra small to extra large.

The trousers are roomy, full bodied and come with a range of handy pockets, including one that is reinforced to hold a pair of secateurs. The area around the knees is double-thickened for cushioned kneeling. The trousers are available in a comprehensive size range, spanning from extra small (28”) to extra large (36”).

The Engei range is currently available in green twill, but come November will also be available in navy.
