
Open to both members and non-members, the GIMA Day Conference will feature an address from Alan Roper, Managing Director of Blue Diamond Group, as well as expert sessions exploring the transformative potential of artificial intelligence which will be supplemented by practical insights from the GIMA Panel on the implementation of AI and applications to improve processes and drive growth.
In his keynote speech Roper will outline Blue Diamond’s growth strategy, market positioning, and his vision for the future of the industry. His speech promises to be both informative and thought-provoking, providing delegates with a unique perspective on the Blue Diamond business model, as well as the evolving marketplace.
Also on the agenda, the transformative role of AI will be addressed, providing a deeper understanding of AI’s practical applications within the industry. Edwin Meijer of Green Solutions will deliver guidance on marketing content and AI-driven image generation, equipping businesses with tools to enhance their brand presence.
The event will also feature Anti Copying in Design (ACID), where CEO Laura Newbold Breen and ACID Legal Affiliate Tony Catterall, Senior Partner and Head of Intellectual Property at Taylors Solicitors, will discuss the legal considerations surrounding AI and intellectual property rights. As AI continues to reshape the business landscape, this session will provide insights into safeguarding designs and protecting business assets in the digital age.
The subsequent GIMA panel discussion will see industry leaders share their own experiences of integrating AI into their businesses. Speakers include Jonathan Stobart from Smart Garden Products, Dave Harker from Fothergill’s Seeds, and Robert Patten from Plantworks by Empathy.
The GIMA Day Conference takes place on Tuesday, the 25th March 2025 at Warwick Conferences. The conference will follow the GIMA Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is for members only. The conference commences at 10:15am and closes at approximately 3:30pm.
