Hillier’s 2025 design for BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair draws on inspiration from their 2024 woodland themed garden, with a fresh blend of plants, trees and organic features, encapsulating a serene garden setting.
Show visitors will be greeted by a colourful herbaceous display, featuring; Primula, Scabiosa, Lupins and Digitalis. The garden aims to evoke a sense of calm and dynamism as it merges areas of sunny and shade landscaping. Featuring a gravel garden, gentle stream and woodland display, planted with hostas, ferns and Brunnera, the garden aims to provide inspiration to landscape existing terrain. Mature trees, such as birches and cherries provide a natural backdrop.

This year, we wanted to expand on the woodland theme which was so well received in 2024. By capturing the organic aspects of the woods, and blending in bright sunlit spaces, this design encourages viewers to stop, listen and appreciate the smaller details. This garden embodies the Hillier ethos – blending traditional planting with innovative ways to enjoy the outdoors and make the most of entertainment areas.”

Hillier holds the record for the most consecutive gold medals awards at the world-famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show, with 74 wins.
The BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair, set in the grounds of Beaulieu will take place from 2nd – 4th May 2025.
