After nearly 40 years in the industry, with a broad range of experiences, Dai Lewis has been appointed Associate Director (Forestry) with Nicholsons. Lewis has had a lead role within the Forestry department at the Oxfordshire based, landscaping company for 4 years.

Lewis brings a pragmatic approach to the board and is to drive business development. To date, Lewis has worked on a multitude of projects, involving landscape mitigation and restoration, translocation of ancient wood and woodland creation. With a deep-rooted commitment to sustainable land and forest management, Lewis and the forestry team will be working to maximise the value and potential of forested areas.

Nicholsons is a multi-disciplinary company, serving a wide range of clients in various sectors; homeowners, property developers, commercial businesses, landscape architects, land agents, garden designers, local authorities, public institutions and construction companies. The company, noted for their experience in environmentally responsible forestry practices, specialise in timber harvesting, forest inventory and mapping, new woodland creation and forest management planning.
