North Midlands SGD Cluster Group

The Society of Garden Designers (SGD) Cluster Groups provide access to a local network for support for garden designers and events in their area.

North Midlands Cluster Group for the Society of Garden Designers

Earlier this week, the North Midlands cluster group for the Society of Garden Designers was launched, which covers; Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

Garden designer and botanist Sophie Parmenter, the designer of the 2024 RHS Chelsea National Autistic Society Garden is this local cluster leader.

Parmenter is reaching out to all garden designers living and/or working in these areas to get in touch. In addition to providing support, the group is planning events for 2024 such as garden visits, talks by industry experts and social events.

Non-SDG members are welcome to come along a few of taster sessions to hear more about the society and to chat to other enthusiasts about garden, planting and landscape design.
