Oxfordshire based, ODD has been making its Old Rocker swing seats in limited runs for nearly 20 years and counts actors such as Helena Bonham Carter and designers such as Luke Edward Hall as clients.
Characteristically whimsical, ODD swing seats are traditionally upholstered and handmade in England – all bespoke, made with a choice of materials and trimmings.
To ensure natural companions for their swinging furniture, ODD have now introduced their new parasols. Working with a specialist frame-maker in the South of England, the octagonal parasols have a hardwood frame, brushed stainless steel fixtures and pulley system, and specially made canvas – which the company says “can stand up beautifully to English weather and have the perfect stiffness required for a proper British brolly”.
The new parasols are made to order, and can be adorned with options such as loose linings, custom-made stands, and protective covers.
