Known for their large, Belgian Bluestone topped tables, furniture maker Oxenwood was established in 2014 by Charlie Alexander, a former corporate lawyer with a passion for design and is based on the Wiltshire, Hampshire borders. Initially the company focused on outdoor furniture, but have expanded their range to include indoor furniture and custom fixtures such as windowsills, terraces, paving, and worktops.
With over 60 years of combined experience, Hortus Loci, founded by Mark Straver and Robin Wallis, has become one of the preferred suppliers of plants for landscape architects, garden designers, and landscapers across Europe. The nursery grows 80% of its plants in-house at its 17-acre site in North Hampshire and officially went peat-free in 2019.
The new Oxenwood showroom at Hortus Loci’s Hampshire nursery provides respective clients to browse for trees, shrubs, plants and furniture for their gardens and terraces. The showroom is very much as was seen at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show where the companies collaborated on a stand for the show.
