Presenter, gardener, writer and all round plantswoman, Carol Klein will be demonstrating how to create plants for free, featuring all manner of plant propagation techniques such as seeds, cuttings, division and so forth. Propagation is definitely one of her many fortes as Klein used to run her own nursery in Devon, Glebe Cottage Plants where she raised unusual herbaceous perennials for 30 years.

According to Klein on a recent instagram post: “Growing our own plants for free has to be one of the most exciting aspects of gardening. Why not grow along with me as I make new plants from seed, cuttings and division.”

Klein has been a permanent presenter of Gardeners’ World since 2005.

Propagation by seed is the first part of the new strand, which will be included in this week’s programme which airs this Friday 22nd March on Gardeners World, BBC2 at 8pm.
