A delightful morning coffee event may not raise an eyebrow, but is in fact an example of masterful cross-industry sales alliances to reach (new) markets segments that would otherwise be out of reach. Through their partnership, their respective reputations are not only further enhanced but they can cross-pollinate their talents to each respective customer base. Good timing too, as the blurring of interior and outdoor spaces is very much on the trend. The pair have collaborated before, namely around RHS Chelsea time.

Tricia Guild OBE is the creative force of Designers Guild and has been at the forefront of interior design since starting the company in the early ’70s. Renowned for her passion for colour, pattern and texture as well as her signature lifestyle brand and books, Tricia Guild has been setting the pace with her dynamic and innovative collections, instantly recognisable for her unique and contemporary style. Guild is a gardener in her own right, the plants and flowers of which provide inspiration for her collections. She has a garden in Umbria which was designed in collaboration with Arne Maynard.
