Raising funds for Greenfingers through Challenge for Change

Newly launched, the Challenge for Change initiative, invites individuals, groups, and businesses across the UK to take on personal challenges in aid of a charity of their choice.

Designed to empower people to set their own goals – whether fitness-based, creative, lifestyle-related or completely unique, the campaign supports the individual efforts to raise money for a chosen cause.

With participants free to choose which organisation benefits from their challenge, the Greenfingers Charity is encouraging its supporters to consider fundraising for its ongoing work in creating therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices nationwide.

Challenge for Change is a fantastic initiative that puts the emphasis on personal motivation and the power of community. We’re excited to be part of something that gives people the freedom to support causes they’re passionate about and we hope that many will choose to support Greenfingers as part of their challenge. Every pound raised will help us to build another generation of more magical outdoor spaces for life-limited children and their families that call thee hospices ‘home’. I’d also like to express our thanks to the Challenge for Change team for reaching out to tell us more about this initiative and allowing Greenfingers to be part of the action. We are sure it’ll become a key part of our annual fundraising efforts,” explained Linda Petrons, Director of Fundraising & Communications at Greenfingers Charity.

From daily walks and fitness milestones to giving up habits or learning new skills, Challenge for Change is open to everyone. The flexible format allows participants to be as ambitious or creative as they like, with the central aim of making a positive impact for a chosen charity.
