
The campaign for Resolva taps into the frustration surrounding the presence of persistent weeds, positioning the brand as a fast, readymade solution. Resolva is a Glyphosate free based formula.
According to Westland Horticulture, the 2025 campaign represents a significant media investment, targeting ABC1 adults aged 45+ through a powerful mix of traditional and digital TV channels. The Resolva advert will be shown during primetime viewing on ITV1, Channel 4, Sky, and Amazon Prime, including popular shows such as Clarkson’s Farm. For the first time, the campaign extends to BVOD (Broadcaster Video On Demand) with Sky and Channel 4, offering precise targeting of garden-interested consumers.
On account of their environmental impact, the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) generally advises against the use of weedkillers, and recommends using alternative methods first. The RHS does acknowledge that when non-chemical methods fail, regulated weedkillers, are available for home gardeners. Importantly, gardeners are however advised to following label instructions carefully and only applying products in suitable weather conditions.
