Sarah Raven acquires Taylors Clematis

With the new acquisition, the online retailer becomes one of the largest suppliers and retailers of clematis plants in the UK.

The full range from Taylors Clematis is set to move from Doncaster to the Sarah Raven nursery in Lincolnshire, boosting their range to over 100 clematis varieties.

The Sarah Raven brand was first established in 1999, and offers a comprehensive range of seeds, seedlings, plants, and gardening and floristry kit. Established in 1982, Taylors Clematis has a rich history in sourcing and cultivating rare breed and award-winning clematises that stand the test of time. According to Sarah Raven, it is the “passion for excellence that make Taylors Clematis and Sarah Raven the perfect fit”.

Sarah Raven said: “Through our incredibly exciting acquisition of Taylors Clematis, Sarah Raven will now become the largest suppliers of clematis plants in the UK. So, as we take the next steps on this landmark journey, we look forward to helping even more gardeners bring beauty, colour, and joy to their much-loved outdoor spaces.”
