Sarah Raven is a fast growing direct-to-consumer retailer of plants, seeds and gardening accessories with a highly engaged customer base. Based in Holbeach St Johns, Rookery Farm a plant nursery and specialist order fulfilment service provider, was acquired by Sarah Raven Ltd in 2022 as part of the business’ growth plan.
According to Raven, the nursery pioneers sustainable energy – from generating 92% of their energy from solar panels to harvesting six million litres of rainwater in their reservoirs. A reported, 98% of their packaging is plastic free, using only recyclable paper and cardboard.
The company’s ambition is to reduce emissions a further 5% year on year.
