The new REA 60 PLUS is part of the STIHL AK System of battery tools for home use, and the REA 100 PLUS is part of the AP System of tools for professionals. The new pressure washers not only allow usage without the hassle of (tangled) cables, but also allow for cleaning where no power socket or pressurised water supply is available.
The battery-powered high-pressure washers can be supplied with water via a normal connection, as well as from another source such as a rain barrel when in suction mode. An optional trolley with integrated water tank is available as an accessory, allowing for complete independent work.
Performance is down to the STIHL brushless EC motor, aluminium pump and an operating pressure of up to 100 bar (REA 60 PLUS) or 125 bar (REA 100 PLUS). The desired water pressure can be adjusted to suit any surface, and the standard 3-in-1 nozzle allows efficient switching between the rotary, fan jet and detergent nozzle, without the need to remove the nozzles. If required, an additional detergent can be fed to the water jet. Accessories such as surface cleaners and telescopic spray lance are available for special applications.
According to STIHL, the lightweight and compact designs of the REA 60 PLUS and REA 100 PLUS create maximum mobility, including the integrated hose reel which enables convenient handling and space-saving storage of the high-pressure hose. Accessories are stored directly on the appliances ensuring all that is needed is always at hand.
The high-pressure washers’ power is supplied by high quality 36V lithium-ion batteries from STIHL’s interchangeable AK (REA 60 PLUS) and AP (REA 100 PLUS) Systems. Both the AK and AP batteries can also be used to power a wide range of garden tools such as STIHL’s lawn mowers to hedge trimmers, blowers and pole pruners.
