The Branching Out Fund, supports applications ranging in value from £250 to £2,500 for community groups, schools, small registered charities, and Tree Warden Networks to establish trees, hedgerows and orchards.

The fund aims to improve the environment in town and country by promoting the planting and conservation of trees and woods throughout the United Kingdom.

Applications are now open and the deadline is midnight on the 1st of December 2024. Funding is limited, and applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible. Successful applicants should be notified within five weeks of a complete submission. Applications for less than £500 are likely to be processed more quickly.

Guidance notes and the online application form are available from the Tree Council.
