Initially seen on the Oxford’s Broad Street, Woodblocx’s new modular street furniture and planter designs provide versatility for a myriad of design possibilities. The range are designed for use in the public domain such as for parklets, street planting and traffic management but are adaptable for roof gardens, commercial and residential developments, hospitality, healthcare, parks and gardens.
The new range is made from strong, hardwearing modular blocks that are manufactured, fully assembled, and shipped from the company’s sawmill in the Highlands of Scotland. The base of each unit has been designed to provide easy access for forklifts or pump/pallet trucks to move the structures quickly and safely to create a new layout or repurpose them in another location. Planters and seating can be configured into an infinite number of layouts to achieve the desired solution for the space and requirement.
“We created the new moveable planter designs in response to the huge demand we are seeing for the specification of movables on projects throughout the UK and Europe. The designs include the most requested features, including integrated planter benches and larger scale street furniture designs. We are now one of the go-to companies for moveable planting and street furniture solutions”, explained Dan McLearnon, Business Development WoodBlocX Landscaping.
