Horticulture Careers Discovery Week

Organised by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) this week of inspiring talks puts the spotlight on the variety of horticultural career paths available.

Horticulture Careers Discovery Week aims to help people of all ages and backgrounds step into a world of possibilities and explore and understand a wide array of roles available across the horticultural sector.

A series of expert speakers will share their career journey, insights into the day-to-day activities of their role, discuss challenges and opportunities horticulture brings, plus lots more. Speakers include (amongst others):

  • Katie Andrews, Therapeutic Horticulture Practitioner
  • Ed Bowring, Social and Therapeutic Horticulture Practitioner
  • Lucy Chamberlain, Garden Writer
  • Josh Corbett, Arboriculture Team Leader at RHS Garden Bridgewater
  • Dr Andrew Salisbury, Head RHS Plant Health team

Attendees will receive key tips during the week and to help drive their career forward, discover the different training routes available and hear-first hand from some of RHS students and apprentices on their experiences of working and studying for the RHS.
