Butterfield has been on the horticultural scene for over 10 years, is an award winning garden designer and since 2021 director of Form Plants nursery in Surrey.
The new presenter introduced Gardeners’ World viewers to the gardens at Scampston Hall in Yorkshire and interviewed the gardening team who brought the gardens back in line with Piet Oudolf’s original vision for the walled garden.
