Support helplines over Christmas

Perennial’s helpline will close at 4.30pm on Wednesday 20 December and reopen at 10.00am on Wednesday 3 January 2024.

Perennial, the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in horticulture, and their families, when times get tough. The charity provides free and confidential advice, information and support to people working in, or retired from horticulture and their families.

If you need help with your mental or physical wellbeing when the helpline is closed, the charity have advised to call their 24/7 support service on 0808 196 2016. The service is provided in partnership with Spectrum Life, and callers just have to mention Perennial. Alternatively, download the free Health & Wellbeing App.

Perennial have also advised that if you require to talk to someone that you can also call the Samaritans free of charge on 116123. They’re available 24 hours a day, 365 days a week. Or to text “SHOUT” to 85258 to contact the Shout Crisis Text Line.
