According to B&Q, the new plastic plant pot recycling stations are part of their commitment to assist their customers to make more sustainable choices.

B&Q explain that the plant pot recycling stations have been installed for people to drop off unwanted plastic plant pots which will then recycled and used to create new pots – reducing waste and environmental impact.

The recycled pots collected will be used to create new 100% recycled plastic Blacksmith planter pots which they will sell in their B&Q stores.

B&Q was established in 1969, service approximately 20 million people annually across the 300 stores in the UK, Ireland, diy.com and diy.ie.
