Organised by the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA), Plantae 2024 is a celebration of the passion, fascination and respect botanical artists have for the plant kingdom – from the micro lichens and mosses, to the majestic grace and grandeur of trees and the floral abundance of perennials and gardens.
The 2024 exhibition is being held online this year and will run from the 1st until the 30th of June.
The exhibition is a platform for excellence in plant-related art, bringing together artists of national and international repute. According to the SBA their mission is to promote the skills of artists using a varied range of media who all excel in their ability to portray botanical forms in an accurate, unique or interesting way.
For 2025, which marks the SBA’s 40th anniversary and Ruby celebration, the Plantae exhibition will be held at all 3 of the Mall Galleries in London, from the 26th of May until the 8th of June 2025.
