Perry, well known as Mr Plant Geek is a prolific and experienced plantsman. As an ardent garden blogger & podcaster, Perry has managed to transform his passion for horticulture into a successful career. Perry was the face of new plant introductions at Thompson & Morgan, where he worked for 18 years. A sought after (TV) gardener, he has made frequent appearances on This Morning, The One Show and QVC. In 2015, he was listed in the Top ’20 most influential horticulturists’ by The Sunday Times. For the past 7 years, he has co-hosted the Plant-Based Podcast with Ellen Mary, celebrating all things plants. Perry’s talents have taken him across the world, providing lectures and keynote talks on the latest and greatest in plants.
The new RHS Urban Show (18 – 21 April 2024) is expected to be a departure from the traditional RHS show. Housed entirely indoors in the vast industrial space of the Mayfield Depot in Manchester, the show will focus on the growing movement of urban and city gardeners, and the increasing connection between horticulture, wellbeing and sustainable living.
